Sanatorium Amber Shore health resort is situated in Jurmala, in 35 km from Riga, capital of Latvian Republic. Health resort Jurmala has rare combination of medicinal factors: climatic conditions, balneological and mineral waters.The climate in Jurmala is temperate warm in summer and mild in winter. Favourable climate conditions, sea air and pine forest have a wholesome effect on people with cardio - vascular diseases.

The main goal of our sanatorium is medical treatment:

• of cardiovascular system (chronic forms of heart ischemic disease with stenocardia), transmitted acute cardiovascular infarction a year prescription
• of cardiac deficiency at II stage
• prevalent atherosclerosis, cardiology of various genesis
• rheumatism with a heart affection
• support-locomotion system
• non-tubercular nature spine disease
• attendant illness of internal digestion (stomach illness with low secretion, pathology of large intestine.

We use following treatments for healing illnesses listed above:

Sulphuretted hydrogen baths – used to be one of the main methods of complex treatment. Mineral waters containing sulphuretted hydrogen help for those who have problems with cardiovascular system, support-locomotion, central and peripheral nervous system.

It is known that sulphuretted hydrogen improves exchange process, systematize mineral, albuminous and fat metabolism, and normalizes central nervous system.

Mineral waters are very health-giving for those who have problems with cardiovascular system, digestive apparatus. Taking bath is very useful because sensory endings affect circulation of the blood.

Mud cure is also very important in the medical treatment in our sanatorium. Latvia is famous for its rich mud cure deposits which contain large amount of sulphuretted hydrogen and mineral components.

We provide several methods of treatments: Su-Dzhok, acupuncture, homeopathy and herb treatment.

In the sanatorium works biochemical and diagnostic laboratories. Different types of massage, beauty salon, and dental surgery are available. For those who wish to have different menu we offer special invalid food.
